Rose water, commonly derived from the petals of Rosa damascena, is a fragrant floral distillate widely used in cosmetics for its hydrating, soothing, and toning properties. Rich in antioxidants and gentle on the skin, it helps maintain the skin’s pH balance, reduce redness, and refresh the complexion. Commonly found in facial mists, toners, and creams, rose water is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and mature skin. It is sometimes called rose hydrosol or rose distillate.
